On Saturday, July 31st cARTel were hosts to an epic 6 hour event called 50 States, 50 Stories. It was a gathering of over 80 musicians and story tellers and art lovers alike! Held at a private residence in the Hollywood Hills, 50 States 50 Stories was just that--an event for people to come and tell/hear the best personal stories from across our country.

It was an cARTel event in the truest fashion, involving storytelling, new friends, music, and food (we had a BBQ headed up by the wonderful DeSena's!). Stories ranged from hilarious to touching to educational and everything inbetween. While lounging around the pool with our choice BBQ items, we heard tell of Sasquatch, drunken escapades, a girl punching Lil' Wayne's car after his driver bumped her on the streets of New Orleans, a town that took in a stranger traveling cross country on foot.

The bands Big Foot Little Brother, Broken Numbers Band, and the Jen Awad Band filled the afternoon out with their AMAZING songs.
