Every year, the cARTel commissions an original work and brings it directly into living rooms all throughout Los Angeles. In 2010, cARTel' tour took the group North to the Valley, South to Orange county, over to the Westside, all the way East to Monrovia, and everywhere in between. And each house host provided a night of food, drink, and art.

 Now it's 2011, and we are on the hunt to find our next ground breaking author to pen this year's Living Room Tour show! If you are chosen, you will be commissioned to write an original piece which will be performed in living rooms all over LA county and beyond. As an author, it is your opportunity to create a piece of theater which will be experienced on such a powerful, intimate level which simply cannot be captured on a stage. Plus, you'll get paid to do it!

How do you become our next LRT playwright?
