Born out of the frustrations that artists face trying to find spaces for their work, Slow Through Eden was a production of an original script written by cARTel ensemble member Aaron J. Sussman which was toured and performed in 12 homes around Southern California. This created a unique and heartwarming theatrical experience. Every show was an event, a party, a community gathering of sorts where people felt “at home” in the best way possible.

cARTel ensemble member Nick Refuerzo filmed and produced a documentary film (also called Slow Through Eden) depicting the production process.

In Spring of 2009, cARTel member and founder of cARTel UK Kenneth O'Toole produced Slow Through Eden in the United Kingdom.
