Two years ago this June, the cARTel was born in the back of a classroom by two frustrated artists, Negin Singh and Alan Bilsborough, who were ready and willing to create art by any means necessary. Six productions, three Community Pools, 12 ensemble members, 120+ collaborators, and countless artistic escapades later, cARTel stands strong as a theater company exploring the boundaries of art-making.
In celebration of cARTel's two year anniversary/birthday, ensemble members, who reign from California, France, England, and DC, individually created videos, all under the same title: Two. No other limitations were imposed.
